Inkjet Personalization

Take advantage of the most advanced system for inkjet printing CR-80 plastics in the world! CPS currently provides Inkjet personalization on CR80 Cards using MEK Ink, 120 x 256 DPI, at rates up to 10,000 cards per hour. This system has a built in verification unit, that electronically and automatically replaces cards with bad printing or poor mag stripe encoding. Nothing is left to chance, and no replacements are done by hand where dups and gaps can occur.

Material recommendations:

- Poly-Styrene material is recommended for printing numerics. Poly-Styrene is more absorbent for ink resulting in a dot matrix type image.

- Polyester material is recommended for barcoding. Polyester is less absorbent for ink, allows ink to bleed more and results in a smoother print.

Specifications:

- Images should be placed leaving 3mm from each card edge
- 3mm clearance from pre-printed areas should be left for camera verification
- All standard True Type fonts are supported
